Meg Medina Named National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature
The Library of Congress has named Newbery-winning author Meg Medina as the next ambassador for young people’s literature. Medina is the first Latinx author to hold the position.
The 2023 Walter Dean Myers Awards
The 2023 recipients of the Walter Dean Myers Award were announced in January 2023, and will be honored with an award ceremony at the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library in Washington DC on March 17th, 2023.
