2015 Arbuthnot Honor Lecture Featuring Brian Selznick

The DC Public Library is proud to be hosting the 2015 Arbuthnot Honor Lecture sponsored by the Association for Library Service to Children. Brian Selznick's presentation is entitled "Love Is a Dangerous Angel: Thoughts on Queerness and Family in Children's Books." The event is scheduled for Friday, May 8, at 7:00 pm at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G St., NW, Washington, DC. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Registration is free, but tickets are required. A reception with book sales and signing will follow.
